Finch’s lead candidate, CP101, is in late-stage clinical development for recurrent C. difficile infection (CDI). In June 2020, Finch announced that CP101 met its primary efficacy endpoint in PRISM3, the first of two pivotal trials to support the development of CP101 for the prevention of recurrent CDI. Finch is also developing CP101 for chronic hepatitis B, and FIN-211 for autism spectrum disorder. In partnership with Takeda, Finch is advancing FIN-524 and FIN-525 for ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, respectively.


Position Summary 

Finch is looking for an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for a wide variety of clerical duties to support the Stool Donation program at OpenBiome. This position will work under the general supervision of the Donor Assessment Clinical Supervisor. He/She will be responsible for following OpenBiome’s Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the safety of stool donations. This person will work collaboratively with donor operations staff and other departments to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures while maintaining constant communication with clinical staff. He/she will appropriately escalate any clinical issues or concerns to the donor’s primary RN. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills while being able to multitask, and provide excellent client service.  



  • When on-site – greet & “check out” Candidates and Donors at conclusion of their appointment 
  • Perform Virtual “check out” process when off-site 
  • Schedule Donor appointments using a cloud-based scheduling program 
  • Track completion of Donor and Candidate appointments 
  • Track completion of Donor and Candidate laboratory screens 
  • Complete donor contact notes in our EMR system 
  • Send reminders via email, SMS, phone calls to Donors 
  • Manage the rescheduling of appointments for clinical staff who are out of office (sick calls, vacations, etc.) 
  • Communicate upcoming screening needs to Donor Assistants 
  • Email clinical staff to follow up with any Donor that divulges clinically relevant information during interactions  
  • Properly adhere to Good Clinical Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and relevant Standard Operating Procedures 



  • High school diploma and 1+ years of professional experience 
  • Experience working in customer service is a plus 
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Basic functions 
  • Excellent communication skills
